Come dunk a coach! The school with the most spirit gets the biggest donation and bragging rights in the area HEB Football Showdown event this Saturday, October 4th!
HEB will also have 2 food trucks selling plates and other fun games for the kids. This will all take place 11-3 in the parking lot of HEB Plus in Lytle with Lytle activities at 11:30am. See you there!!
Friday night at Walter H. Joyce, Jr. Stadium will be Jr. High night against La Grulla. All JH football players will lineup with varsity and run through our inflatable in pre-game festivities. The JH football players will wear their game jerseys. Kick off is at 7:30pm - we hope to see you there!
If you are an Athlete or thinking about athletics who are behind in their physical paperwork or want to get a head start for offseason, winter and spring sports, Coach Nowlin has setup physicals free of charge on August 7th at the LHS gym from 2-5pm.
Junior High sports and practices will start on first day on school.

"On Thursday, October 24th, the Junior High held the second of their Pep Rallies.. Thanks to Mrs. Null, the cheerleaders planned many great activities enjoyed by everyone. The Band, teachers and students in the gym that day all did their part in raising the spirits, pride and expectations as our Lytle Pirates Football Team prepared themselves to take on Devine."
"On Friday, October 25th, our Junior High held the first dance of the year in preparation of Red Ribbon Week. Mrs. Woodruff and members of Student Council did a great job of planning and organizing the event. Special thanks go to all the teacher chaperones for their help and the DJ for keeping the music going. A great time was had by all.
