LJH Student Chosen to Attend Joint Session of Congress in Washington, D.C.!

Last week, an invitation from the office of Congressman Henry Cuellar was extended to one lucky Lytle Junior High student to attend the Joint Session of Congress on February 28, 2017.  An LJH student and their parent would receive free airfare and hotel accommodations to Washington, D.C..

Students were asked to submit a 5 paragraph essay on the role of President and participate in an interview regarding their interest in attending.

Congratulations to Rylan Wagner, 8th grader at Lytle Junior High School, for winning the competition.  He and his parent will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to attend the Joint Session of Congress.
