Wednesday, October 19th, the Lytle Junior High teams took to the starting line for their Cross Country EOC.
For 8th grade, Mariana Verdeja finished 38th with a time of 18:58.
For seventh grade, a team of 8 girls competed and finished in 4th place.

The 7th grade boys team finished 4th as a team scoring 81 points. Jared Aguinaga placed 10th and is pictured as a medalist. The results are as follows:

The 8th grade boy's team ran well, with six of the seven runners finishing under 14 minutes for 2 miles. They finished 2nd in the race as a team and completed the course with goals accomplished. JC Hernandez had a goal to finish two miles in under 13 minutes. He finished and medaled 7th with a time of 12:48.
